A hair product similar to Baby Oil?

I have a curly frizzy poofy mess on my head and I've found that baby oil is the best product out there to wear my hair curly or straight. It weighs down the poof, defines the curls, shines the straightness, no static, makes my hair soft, and it smells nice. However, I've heard that baby oil is bad for your hair, so I'm wondering if there's a hair product out there similar that will do all those things I described. Maybe a product meant for African American hair would work for me? (I'm Caucasian...)

Here are a list of products I've tried, so nobody recommends them: mousse/gel: makes poofier

hair spray: controls the static, but sticky and unmanagable

Biosilk: smells good and makes my hair soft, but also makes my hair really staticcy

ION Straight: Doesn't remove the frizzies once it dries

Frizz-ease brand: static and poof

Brilliant brunette: smells sooo good, but doesn't remove the poof.

So, you see my dilemma, lol.

actually I have really curly hair and I know how you feel. I like Silk Elements glosser (it's available at Sally's in the Packs and Vials section) This is the only thing that works for me. . . I love it and the great thing about Sally's is if it doesn't work for you, you can return it for your money back or an exchange! :)
Reply:Buy Cirtus Shine. It works wonders. My hair is JUST like yours, but I never tried baby oil.
