What hair products are actually good for your HAIR? WHich are worth the extra money?

i want to know for real what products and ingredients in hair products like shampoo and conditioner , are actually good for your hair and improve its condition? What products are actually worth the extra money?? Does spending extra money on your shampoo/conditioner really make a difference, rather than using like Suave or Tresemme? I just bought Biosilk shampoo and conditioner, but i almost feel like my hair feels harder aafterword, not softer and healthier. Any brands u can name is a plus too. Are brands containing silk proteins good for your hair?

biolage and aquage
Reply:my favorite products are redken... they're more expensive, but coming from a cosmetologist, i'd say spend the money to really take care of your hair... you'll notice a difference... they have different shampoos %26amp; conditioners to fit different hair types, as well as plenty of styling aids...
Reply:Don't waste your money on expensive shampoos. Read the labels and they all have the same stuff in them. It's what you put on your hair after a good shampoo is what is important. To lighten it and give it shine, put a few sprinkles of H2O2 on a wipe and and spread on your hair. A few drops of saline solution will detangle it and decrease the static and to nourish it add a few drops of vitamin E oil. Most wipes contain vitamin E and aloe so they are a excellent conditioners and an inexpensive, easy, no mess way to condition and improve your hair. To give your hair an herbal conditioner, try a few drops of rosemary essential oil on the wipe. This is excellent for the hair for shine and conditioning. Finally, the only way to add protein to your hair is through your diet. You are what you eat.
Reply:For cheap but good there is pantene and garnier( I don't mean really cheap!normal price) What's really good but is a lot more money is aveda. It works really well. Even for damaged hair!

Good Luck!
Reply:I buy the cheap Pantene. It works good. But the thing is I use a VO5 hot oil treatment every week or few days. Your mother and grandmother wasn't right about that one. That stuff works. I have waist length hair that's even dyed and it looks good because I use it.
Reply:I don't like any of the expensive shampoo and conditioners. They make my hair feel dirty after using them. I like pantene ice shine and Herbal essence hello hydration. Tresseme is good but I feel like I have to use alot everytime. If you wanna colour boost, try John Frieda line. Alos, make sure to use a detangler after washing your hair. It really helps to keep your hair shiny and soft. Hope this helps. Goodluck P.S. I have normal, fine hair.
