What can I do with my dry, brittle hair?

I straighten my hair every day and although I protect it with quality serums like Biosilk and Redken, my hair still tends to spaz out. My hair is naturally a little bit wavy, but mostly poofy and frizzy. I straighten my hair because it's easy and I don't have to spend a lot of time on it.

What products or techniques can I use to make my hair look healthier?

What can I do with my dry, brittle hair?
Hop in the shower everyday and wash it ( i recommend Aussie shampoo and conditioner) When ur ready to get out of the shower make sure ur hair is totally wet and dont dry it. Get dressed and then use a COMB to brush it out with. when ur done getting all the knots out put ur head in the sink and wet it one more time. Comb through one more time not worrying about knots and then shake it like a dog would. Back and Forth, back and forth. Then puff it up and pamper ur hair with ur hands. Then its time for gel. Put about the same amount of gel as u would conditioner. Then run through ur hair and then use a brush or comb and run it down through ur hair. shake and fluff ur hair again. Then use the hair dryer and dry ur hair so ur hair's not totally dry but so it half is and its half not. Fluff ur hair. Then use the straigtener and straighten ur hair. Then it should b dry and it should look healthy.

Reply:Real mayonaisse. Wash your hair and then use the mayonaisse as a conditioner. Leave it in for about 3 minutes after working it into your hair. Rinse and then lightly wash with a little shampoo again. It works.
Reply:Work a deep-conditioner into your hair. Then wrap a warm towel or get a plastic cap and put it on; and set under the dryer for about 5mins. Then rinse it out.
Reply:Well first, you should invest in a good Volumizing shampoo and conditioner . Second make sure you have your split ends trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks to keep hair healthy and growing. Straightening the hair with heat everyday is very damaging to hair and you should try wrapping it at night to keep it looking straight without all the heat. If you dont know how to wrap your own hair ...most salons will do it for a really low fee. If you have to do it yourself keep protecting the hair but use products specifically for dry and brittle hair. Also remember to deep -condition at least once a week to replenish moisture to your hair.
Reply:Use John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Shampoo and John Frieda Frizz Ease Rehydrate Moisture-Binding Deep Conditioner, make sure you wash your hair every day. Try washing it at night and letting it dry naturally as long as you can. Also, don't use a brush on your hair when it's wet (personal experience, it makes your hair very frizzy and when I stopped using a brush on it, my frizz went down like 75%!!) And don't wrap your hair up in a towel (frizz). Then in the morning straighten your hair and keep using whatever serum you use. Try not to straighten it as often. Put it up in a ponytail or something. If your falls flat, use Aussie Aussome Volume Mouse before and after you style it.
Reply:Put lots of conditioner into your hair when it's dry and leave it in overnight. It makes it lovely, soft and shiny. Doesn't have to be a deep conditioner, your regular one will do. Try to use as little product as possible also. It weighs your hair down, makes it dull and damages your locks worse.

I'm stating the obvious here but you need to work from the inside out too. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of protein.

Another thing i'v heard great reports on is seaweed extract, it's supposed to be great for growing your hair, skin and nails too by making them healthy on the inside. You will find it in most health stores.
Reply:use conditioner (loads) on dry hair then wrap a warm town around ur head. Apply heat now and again and leave it on as long as poss
