How can i keep my hair from frizzing?? I'm black and my hair frizzes when i sweat. Not to mention humidity!?

I use biosilk on my hair and it's really pretty when when i'm not sweating or its not humid out... but when it is my hair gets ridiculous! And i'm a cheerleader this year so i'll be sweating and be in the humid air! What can i do to stop sweating so much or to make my hair less frizzy!

Reply:you should get japanese hair straightening. that way your hair won't frizz. or you can use gel, mousse, or hair moisturzer if you don't want to straighten it.
Reply:If You have curly hair you should not be brushing your hair! however with strait or wavey hair ask a hair stylest about some hir sprays to make it calm down!!!! i use bumble and bumble beauty products i suggest using them! hope this helps
Reply:Well, to be honest, there are really no products you can use to prevent your hair from becoming poofy if you are sweating. The moisture from your sweat is what makes your hair poofy. I suggest when you cheer or participate in any activity the makes you sweat, is to wear your hair in a nice neat pony tail. Also, wear a cloth, tie headband around the front of you hair. This will help lay your roots down.

I have the same problem with humidity. The only thing that has helped my hair combat frizz is either wearing it in a pony tale, using a ceramic straightener, or pressing your hair (HAI to recommend a quality ceramic straightener). Both methods work really well in combating the poofy look.

I also recommend that you use Paul Mitchel's Super Skinny series. If all else fails talk to a professional hair dresser. They can help you figure out methods that will best work with your hair texture. Hope this helps.
Reply:I have the same problem. I am mixed and have very curly hair that I always straighten that curls in humidity. I just bought this product that you may want to consider trying by John Frieda. Check out the link below:
