Will a CHI flat iron keep my hair straight even in humidity?

My question is if a CHI original flat iron will keep my hair straight even in high humidity? I live in florida, and now it is summer break and so I will be going to a lot of beaches and such, and my Remington Wet2Straight straightens my hair (i dont use it on wet hair though, i use it on dry hair) but, my problem with it is my hair is very thick and fluffy and wazy/curly, so, i have to use a high heat setting, but when i do it fries it bad, even with a leave in cream, and if i use a lower heat setting it doesnt even stay straight in my air conditioned house.

if i use chi will my hair stay perfectly straight in humid humid florida? or will it poof back up? if i use something like the CHI silk infusion or biosilk, will it stay EXTRA straight in high humidity??

thanks!

Yes it will. My hair frizzes extremely bad in any moisture or humudity and after using the Chi iron I dont have that problem at all. Just be sure to add a little amount of frizz serum (I recommend the chi serum, its high quality and works really well) into your hair prior to ironing and your hair will stay straight and looking awesome for a few days!

My hair is curly, poofy, AND frizzy lol so take it from me that it works haha. Heres a link for where I got my chi iron. The price is really good compared to a lot of other places ive seen :)
Reply:whoa this is weird i just went to a salon yesterday and asked about a hair straightener cuz i have super super curly hair and nothing straightened it so i had to use a clothing iron. then they tried it out on my hair and it actually worked! so yes it would defiently hold. but the key is acutally serum. at the salon ask for the best, strongest straightening serum. it stays really good. then if u use spray-in gel or light hairspray it'll keep the frizz away and leave no crunch.

hope this helps you out :)
Reply:I don't have a Chi but I have a flat iron. To get the best effect of it throroughly blow dry your hair and make sure it is not damp at all. Then go through your hair and flat iron it a small section at a time. It worked for me and I grew up on the coast in Texas where it was 100% humidity everyday. Too bad there was no Chi for me in highschool.

Reply:Why don't you try wearing it with big loose waves? It's a very popular style right now and looks extra beach sexy. Plus you'll minimize damage that comes from lots of heat and straightening.
